59 seconds, running wild and videos of the day


Whew. First day of high school sports season. Thanks to all the coaches who called in scores.

Outstanding stat/point/score of the day? Victoria Buonanni scoring for Coginchaug girls' soccer 59 seconds into their season. It turned out to be a 5-1 win for the Devils against Cromwell.

Other big event was the Mercy Invitational at Mercy High. Cathy Avalone was there to grab some pics and video for your viewing pleasure.
