Hand senior Matt Walsh scored five touchdowns to lead No. 3 Hand to a 40-20 Southern Connecticut Conference win over No. 1 Xavier Friday night at Palmer Field.
Hand, the defending Class L state champion, has won 18 straight games.
Xavier, which has won the past two Class LL state titles, has won 30 straight games.
